This exquisite antique 19th-century Dickens desk, crafted from high-quality oak, is a truly remarkable piece of Victorian craftsmanship. Designed with both elegance and functionality in mind, this desk stands on two sturdy pedestals, each fitted with casters for ease of movement. The rich oak grain and warm colour enhance its stately presence, making it a stunning addition to any study, home office, or antique collection.

One of its most striking features is the beautifully designed megastructure on top, which includes a gallery back and four small drawers on each side, providing convenient storage for smaller essentials.

The writing surface is adorned with a gorgeous green leather top, adding a touch of refinement and durability. A unique feature of this desk is its lift-up writing slope, which opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior, complete with various pigeonholes and small drawers—ideal for organising documents, stationery, or treasured keepsakes.

Below the writing surface, the desk boasts a total of nine drawers, arranged symmetrically with four on each side and a large central drawer. All drawers retain their original knob handles, further emphasising the authenticity and period charm of this piece.

The craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the smooth drawer movements to the finely finished woodwork.

In good overall condition, this desk has been well-preserved over the years, showcasing the timeless beauty and durability of Victorian-era furniture. Whether used as a functional workspace or as a collector's statement piece, this Dickens desk is a rare and highly desirable find that exudes character and sophistication.
